Overview

The year 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of the Bretton Woods system – an important part of the post-war global economic order, which had a profound impact on the development of the world economy. This conference is being organised to commemorate this anniversary by convening public officials, private sector practitioners, and academics from around the world to engage in a vigorous examination of the future of the international monetary system.

This event, to be held  in the collegial and inspiring atmosphere of Hangzhou, is being co-hosted with the Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance and the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies. The event is part of RBWC’s Bretton Woods @80 special initiative and is also the 2024 Tsinghua PBCSF Global Finance Forum.
