Overview
This conference co-hosted with the Central Bank of Austria took place to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Bretton Woods Institutions and in so doing we decided to look ahead at the global governance of the international financial system. Speakers delineated the evolution of the system, outlined future challenges, formulated possible solutions to crisis situations, discussed the development and future role of exchange rate regimes and shred ideas about a crisis prevention and resolution toolkit.
